By the mid-1920s, the name “Huffman Bicycles” was used.ĭuring World War II, Huffman produced over 4,000 military bicycles. Initially, Huffman Manufacturing Company made and marketed bikes under the “Dayton” brand. During the 1930s, Horace Huffman was one of the leaders in the revival of the American cycling industry.
